Outsourced Fleet Management for UK Businesses
A UK outsourced fleet management provider running the administration, compliance and maintenance behind fleets of roughly 20 to 500 vehicles, so your team can focus on the business.
There is no standard per-vehicle price for outsourced fleet management. Here is what actually drives the cost, and how we build a quote for your fleet.
Get a QuoteThere is no standard per-vehicle price for outsourced fleet management. A flat per-vehicle figure can be misleading before the fleet and scope of work are understood. The cost depends on how much work your fleet actually generates, which varies enormously between two businesses running the same number of vehicles.
This page explains what genuinely drives the cost, what a management fee usually covers, and how we put a figure in front of you. If you would rather skip to it, send us your fleet size and current setup and we will build you a tailored proposal.
When we price a fleet, these are the things that move the number:
A fee is built around the workload we take off you. Depending on what you need, that can include:
The work behind each of those is the cost. Not the vehicles sitting on a spreadsheet.
This is the part most pricing pages skip, and it is the reason a flat per-vehicle rate is misleading.
A hundred company cars, on a single site, on manufacturer servicing plans, driven by office-based staff, generates a modest and predictable workload. Servicing is scheduled, mileages are low, drivers are easy to reach and very little goes wrong unexpectedly.
A hundred commercial vehicles across six depots is a different business entirely. Higher mileages, harder use, more unplanned repairs, more roadside incidents, drivers who are difficult to reach during the working day, more compliance exposure and more suppliers to coordinate. The same vehicle count can generate a substantially greater workload.
That is why we quote on the work, not the headcount of your fleet.
We start with a short fleet review. We look at what you run, how it is managed today, what condition the records are in and where your time is currently going. We then agree exactly what we take responsibility for and what stays with you, including how much day-to-day decision-making you want to delegate.
From that we build a tailored proposal based on the actual workload involved. No obligation, and no need to change suppliers or move vehicles to get a figure.
The fair comparison is not our fee against zero. It is our fee against what running the fleet already costs you, and most of that cost is invisible because it is buried in other people’s jobs.
For most businesses the honest answer is that the fleet is already costing them a great deal. It is just not appearing on a single invoice. If you are weighing this up, it is worth reading whether outsourcing is right for your fleet.
Every fleet is scoped individually, but as a rough guide to how the workload changes:
We work across a range of sectors, and the same vehicle count behaves very differently in construction than it does in healthcare or facilities management.
There is no standard per-vehicle price. The cost depends on the number and type of vehicles, how many drivers and sites are involved, the condition of your current records, which services we take on and how much decision-making you delegate to us. We quote on the actual workload after a short fleet review.
Not as a flat rate. Vehicle count is a starting point, but two fleets of the same size can generate very different amounts of work, so pricing on vehicles alone would be inaccurate for one of them.
It can be. The comparison should include salary, employer National Insurance, pension, software, holiday and sickness cover, plus the internal staff time and vehicle downtime associated with managing the fleet.
We work best with fleets of roughly 20 to 500 vehicles, and we support businesses above and below that range. Below about 20 vehicles the administration is often still manageable in-house.
We set out what is included in the management fee and identify any third-party or pass-through costs before the service starts.
No. We can work with your existing garages and suppliers or use our national network, whichever gives you the better result on cost and service.
